Oh yes, here it is! Before you can get it from the stores, I have a copy to give away to one lucky reader! Introducing Gooseberry Patch’s newest cookbook, “Garfield… Recipes with Cattitude!”
We are definitely Garfield-lovers around here, and we have an appreciation for his love of… fine dining. Okay, so he’s not quite a 5-star restaurant connoisseur, but he knows what he likes, and this cookbook does it so very well!
There’s a chapter dedicated to breakfasts, with yummy treats like this Strawberry French Toast, the Lazy Cat Pancake, and the Sunny-Side Up Breakfast Egg Pizza.
Need an appetizer? Try these Hot & Sticky Buffalo Wings (recipe coming soon) with Cool & Creamy Green Onion Dip. I’ll admit, the wings were too spicy for me, but Farmer Doc thought they were great!
There are two (count ‘em, two!) whole chapters of dinners! The first chapter, “Lotsa Lasagna, Pasta & Pizza” has treats like this Bow-Tie Lasagna, Cheesy Lasagna Rolls, and Ham & Mushroom Tortellini.
I made mine without the mushrooms and now I call it Tortellini with Ham and Peas. (Did I mention there are no less than eight pizza recipes?)
Dinner chapter #2 is “It’s Dinner Time… Now!” This features tasty treats like these Super Saucy Meatballs…
… along with Crispy Chicken Nuggets, Yummy Chicken Quesadillas, BBQ Pork Ribs, and this Best Baked Macaroni & Cheese. By the way, this mac & cheese goes wonderfully with those saucy meatballs!
And because Garfield isn’t done until he’s had dessert, there’s a whole chapter for that, too! I started with these Peppermint Snow Ball Cookies (recipe coming soon) and was definitely not disappointed.
What kind of a cookbook written by a cat would leave out our four-legged family members? Don’t worry, there’s a recipe for Homemade Cat Treats.
And, just in case you forgot about Garfield’s puppy friend Odie, there’s also a recipe for Homemade Dog Biscuits (coming soon). These were definitely Sadie-approved!
Did I mention that there is tons of Garfield artwork sprinkled throughout this cookbook? Yep, there he is!
Are you a Garfield lover? A Gooseberry Patch lover? Then this cookbook is for you! Ready to enter? All you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite Gooseberry Patch recipe!
The giveaway is closed! Congratulations to NMGypsyGirl, who won the "Garfield... Recipes with Cattitude!" cookbook!
If you’re really anxious about winning, you can pre-order a copy of “Garfield… Recipes with Cattitude” from Amazon now! It won’t ship until the official release date, but you can get a head start!
